![]() ![]() ![]() Activate DD and DTS capability in the settings.Connect PC with SPDIF to an AV receiver. The EAC3 track is decoded to 2.0 PCM stereo. Kodi should send the 5.1 AC3 core track inside the EAC3 track over the SPDIF connection to the AV receiver. If I activate DD transcoding I get a DD output for the DD+ track, but I explicitly don't want Kodi to transcode the audio track but to play the existing DD core inside the DD+ track. In the audio settings DD and DTS are marked as capable and DD transcoding is turned off. The same MKV has also a DTS-HD MA audio track and here the normal DTS core is played as expected. Audio passthrough with Dolby Digital and DTS works without problems, but when I play a MKV with DD+ (EAC3) audio I only get 2.0 PCM sound instead of the existing 5.1 DD core (AC3). I use Kodi on a PC with Windows 10 connected per SPDIF (WASAPI device) to an AVR. ![]()
